A well-established company specializing in bookkeeping and payroll services for small businesses is seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant/Operational Bookkeeper.
Job Details & Responsibilities:
The team is currently in search of an adaptable and detail-oriented professional who can assist with the following tasks:
+ Bookkeeping and payroll tasks tailored for small businesses, using QuickBooks and Excel.
+ Processing payroll through a third-party online payroll software (supporting a client base of 80+).
+ Performing after-the-fact bookkeeping processes (no Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable functions).
+ Assisting with data entry, categorization of transactions, and light managerial reporting.
+ Bank reconciliations preferred but not required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Background:
Ideal candidates should have the following skills and experience:
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks.
+ Some accounting experience (at least an internship or a year in a related role).
+ Ideal profile is a degreed recent grad with a year of experience and QuickBooks, would consider an operational bookkeeper as well but prefers someone looking for experience and training
+ A degree in accounting or a related field (preferred).
+ Open to learning and receiving training in specialized workflows.
+ Strong attention to detail and reliability.
