Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to play a key role in expanding our client base and generating new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be proactive outbound outreach—through trade shows, cold calls, targeted emails, and LinkedIn messaging—to schedule meetings and qualify potential customers for our engineering team.

You will be the first point of contact with new prospects and will be responsible for opening doors, sparking interest, and qualifying leads before handing them off to our technical sales team to progress the conversation. This is a hands-on role for a motivated individual who thrives on outbound hustle and enjoys driving pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Drive outbound sales activity through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking to engage new potential clients across targeted sectors.
  • Trade Show Engagement: Attend key industry trade shows and events to generate qualified leads and schedule follow-up meetings.
  • Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, confirm fit, and qualify them for next steps with the technical sales team.
  • CRM Management: Using our CRM tools, maintain detailed records of outreach, ensuring all leads are tracked, nurtured, and followed up on effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and marketing teams to continuously improve outreach messaging, lead quality, and hand-off processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in outbound B2B sales or lead generation (engineering/technical industries a plus).
  • Proven ability to generate leads through proactive outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, events).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own pipeline effectively.
  • Experience using CRM systems to track and manage leads.
  • Comfortable representing the company at trade shows and events.
