Graphic Developer/Designer (Web Developer/Designer OPAMS)

Our work depends on a Senior-level Graphic Developer/Designer (Web Developer/Designer OPAMS), to serve in support of defense analytical requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC).

HOW A SENIOR-LEVEL GRAPHIC DEVELOPER/DESIGNER (WEB DEV/DESIGNER OPAMS) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Produce or modify USCENTCOM J2 organization web, SharePoint pages, and templates.
  • Provide user experience and user interface expertise to develop interactive graphics and web products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with professional graphics and design software including: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash), Active Server Pages (ASP), Java Scripts (JS), Apple Final Cut Pro X, Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, MS Office Suite, SharePoint including Developer (and other associated tools), and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.
  • Design/illustrate abstract ideas/concepts and graphically depict technical subject matter for use in visual presentations, web design, and administration products.
  • Determine the visual requirements for print, web, or other media; envisioning and proposing solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to leadership, including status of on-going and newly levied requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with polygraph eligibility.
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Desired Education and Experience: Master's degree with 12 yrs related experience or Bachelor's degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master's degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs.
  • Required: Proven experience in web design and development. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, ASP, JS, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and other relevant tools. Strong graphic design and visualization skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in a military or government environment. Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
