Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of light remodeling tasks, confidently, without supervision, while maintaining Gaspar's quality and customer service standards.
• Demonstrate craftsman carpentry skills in high-end homes.
• Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.
• Perform various tasks from rough finish carpentry, drywall, painting, rot/leak detection repair, light electrical, light plumbing, light tilling window, and door installation.
• Supervising subcontractors and providing excellent communication and understanding with customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A strong and thorough understanding of the industry and home systems.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in residential remodeling and 10 years in the trades.
• Ability to instruct others.
• An ability to work independently and make decisions.
• A valid license and a clean driving record.
• Must have the necessary power and hand tools to perform basic home maintenance.
• Able to pass drug and background check.
• Basic administrative, computer and arithmetic skills to accurately prepare invoices and track paperwork.
• Strength, balance, and agility sufficient to work at gutter-level heights, dig postholes, and move around in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• A lively, fun, outgoing demeanor with sales skills.
• Must live within 30 miles of Seattle.
