What We’re Looking For
As a Lab Manager at CyberPoint, you will oversee the daily operations of a diverse software development lab, ensuring systems, networks and assets are maintained at peak performance. You'll be the go-to resource for managing complex environments from Windows and Linux systems to proprietary platforms while keeping hardware, software and lab configurations well-documented and secure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment, enjoys problem-solving and can manage both the operational and organizational aspects of a high-demand lab.

What You'll Do
  • Manage a diverse software development lab or similar environment such as a data center
  • Create and manage an IT and Asset management inventory database
  • Document lab and network configurations
  • Prepare hardware and software testing environments
  • Perform software installs and upgrades, hardware installs and upgrades, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows, UNIX, Linux and/or proprietary environments
  • Manage software, hardware licenses and spare parts inventory
  • Perform operations, administration, maintenance and provisioning (OAM&P) of networks
  • Perform networking in Internet Protocol (IP), X.25 or vendor proprietary environments
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance .

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000

Qualifications

What You’ll Need 

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical labs, software development environments or data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems and configuration documentation best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with network configuration and administration, including IP-based and vendor proprietary protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking layers.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
