Portfolio Manager CRE and C & I
We are seeking a driven and experienced Banking Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. As a portfolio manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on their portfolios and addressing their financial needs.
This role will effectively turn into a Commercial Lender in training
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and finance, with experience in portfolio management. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability
* Provide expert advice on financial strategies and investment opportunities to clients
* Conduct regular portfolio reviews and analysis to assess performance and make recommendations for adjustments
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact client portfolios
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor
* Monitor and manage risk within client portfolios
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management within the banking industry
* Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and investment strategies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
