Job Summary: The Senior Business Communications Specialist is responsible for leading business communications projects, managing content across various platforms, and producing content for diverse digital communication channels. This role requires a strong understanding of content management and business communications principles, as well as experience training others in these areas. The specialist will utilize various tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint Online, and Office 365, to create and manage content effectively. Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States, Responsibilities: - Leading business communications projects. - Managing content using collaboration platforms. - Producing content for Windows and iOS digital communication channels such as websites, digital displays, video, print media, social media, and mobile applications. - Training others in content management principles and practices, business communications principles and practices, and the use of communication tools. Required Skills & Certifications: - At least ten years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category. - Excellent understanding of content management principles, practices, and experience applying them. - Excellent understanding of business communications principles, practices, and experience applying them. - In-depth experience training others in content management principles and practices, business communications principles and practices, and the use of communication tools. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills. - Exceptional proofreading and editing skills. - Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint Online, and Office 365.
