Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Traffic Engineering Section Lead to lead and grow their traffic engineering practice across South Carolina . This is a hybrid full-time (direct hire) role with an office in Columbus, SC. This is a leadership role ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong business development skills, and a passion for mentoring others and expanding market presence. As the Senior Traffic Engineer, youll be responsible for overseeing traffic-related projects and services, developing new business opportunities, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality technical standards. This role includes project design, traffic studies, signal and signage plans, and collaboration with local and state agenciesespecially SCDOT .
